A closer look at this project.

For his first studio in Ghent, the owner wanted one partner to take care of the interior. Uptone provided painting, window treatments, lighting and furniture, taking account of the available time, space and budget.

In the living space, a curtain fabric with a subtle pattern softens the daylight and provides privacy. In the bedroom, the same fabric was fitted with a blackout lining: the owner regularly works nights and wants to be able to sleep during the day.

Practical layout choices and accessories with Eastern motifs make the interior personal. The finishes start with the resident's everyday life.
